In this '2.5D mateirlas' project, our lab focuses on the science of 2D nanospace formed by layered materials, such as bilayer graphene, to develop a new synthetic method of novel functional materials and also to observe new phenomena and unique physical properties. We also perform the research on the synthesis of high-quality, large-area 2D materials, such as h-BN, TMDCs, and exotic materials, to other members in this project. To develop this "2.5D project", we are seeking a top applicant who has a strong background in chemistry and/or materials science.
