The Future Semiconductor Research Division aims to combine various semiconductor materials such as 2.5-dimensional, magnetic, and diamond oxide with highly advanced silicon semiconductor technology to bring emerging devices that will break through the limitations of silicon semiconductor devices to the world in the near future.
Green Device Research Division
The Green Device Research Division promotes the development of innovative energy conversion elements and next-generation power devices that contribute to one of the Center’s objectives, “promoting semiconductor and device research to achieve both digitalization and decarbonization.”
Energy Storage Device Research Division
In the Energy Storage Device Research Division, we are working on various innovative batteries, known as post-lithium ion batteries, regardless of whether they are organic, inorganic, lithium, sodium, liquid, or solid. We are researching “future battery technology” to realize a sustainable society.
